PPE - A Brief History of 3 era's

ERA 1

Playstation Phoenix Elite was thought up by Jimbles on 27th December 2007. He must have been one of few people to create a clan on a console that he didn't even have yet! But the whole idea was that he had a team, a group of people, to play with the moment he got his ps3. So with this, PPE were born, with the motto, "from the ashes, rise the masters." The motto was given by Jimbles, as a thought towards, if we get knocked down, we will come back stronger. But hang on, surely a guy with no ps3, would need a bit of a hand from someone who has a ps3, someone he knows, and someone who can also be a dab hand with helping on the site. This is where jimbles recruited veindesigns. They knew each other on another forum, so having had a lot of laughs together, and vein seeming to be everything jimbles was looking for, there was no other perfect leader.

So the idea was set, and the gauntlet was laid. This forum was created nearly one year ago, and whilst vein got cracking on with the images, looks and designing the site, jimbles got cracking with recruiting. PPE started out as rainbow six vegas only, and quickly moved onto call of duty 4 with a lot of members joining wanting this section. It also expanded to a brief unreal tournament clan, and a warhawk clan too. There are members who made this first era memorable, and they will get kudos and mentions at the end of this first era section.

So with the members here, and the games flowing, and training on a regular basis, it was all going dandy and great. There were captains for each game, making it easier for the leaders to concentrate on important things like recruitment and the site. A member from the site Jimbles and Vein were previously on got in touch with Jimbles, offering them a site for free, so with that, the whole clan moved too ppeclan.com. After months of everything going smoothly, it seemed it would continue this way, and PPE were known for friendly, fun gaming. But alas, trouble was ahead.

Jimbles left PPE, due to personal reasons, and handed the gauntlet to Vein. However, things were soon to quickly take a turn for the worse. Vein had been under the impression that PPE was all about too much fun, and that there was no competitiveness from the guys, so he set about chopping and getting rid of members who weren't "good enough" for the new, serious clan he wanted. However, after a few weeks, the clan was split in two, the fun half, and the serious half, as we shall know them as. Jimbles came running back, and Vein was soon gone from the clan. Jimbles tried to regroup everyone, but alas, they all had fallen out, and jimbles saw no other option, but to call time upon a memorable era of PPE. The first era ended on 29/04/2008.

Here is a video trailer from that era, which was being worked on as part of as a big clan production. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Qj9dn2T7yJ4

Below are members who made the first era memorable

Vein - Co-leader, despite the disruption, was a memorable and funny member.
Xells - One of themos active, and was always up for a laugh on any game.
Ray - Our russian friend, was excellent on warhawk, was the captain for that team.
Dodger - Was always at the heart of our cod4 team.
Paddy - Our cod4 captain, scottish and fearless on the battlefield. Best member on cod4.
Jack - Paddy's sidekick it seemed, was always on cod4 too.
MrShredder2 - one of our quiet members, but was there when called upon.
Dokidoki - Our girl of the team, and she would be ruthless on the battlefield!
MACH1NE - our deep voiced man, made you jump to attention when he spoke!
Playerbrooker - the guy who left and came back before we knew it. Was active on cod4.
Bippymurkus - Bips was our recorder, and made some videos for us.
Epithemus - was a great laugh, and a great member too. Went AWOL to the internets...
Raging_Raven - was our chatbox crackhead. Never shut up about MGO

So with that era over.. it seemed PPE was gone for good.

ERA 2

Nearly four months on, PPE were back for more. After having talked to steviegriff about him being co-leader, it seemed to be an idea that would work. So PPE's second era was back on the 09/08/2008. So it was set as a plan that, with some persuasion, Jimbles would get back the old members from the first era before anything else happened, and also recruit some new members in the process. After a while, the old members came back, and it seemed the era of the second round, would run like it did with the first era.

Everyone was back to how they originally were, with no obvious tension between the people who had fell out, and it was all set to run smoothly once again. However, the members of old just didn't seem to be up for it much anymore, and they only seemed to be half hearted about games, but the forum was active like it had been. So with the second era not running smoothly barely a month in, it was once again disbanded.

ERA 3

We are now in the third era, and as all sayings go,3rd time lucky. So lets give it all for the best, and this era won't be given up on s easily!
